A live-streamed public lecture by Dr. Alan Jamison from the Institute for Quantum Computing about his research in quantum information. 7pm lecture in the Perimeter Institute theater. Tickets will be available through Eventbrite closer to the date and the lecture will be streamed live to the Perimeter Institute YouTube channel.
Quantum mechanics is a cornerstone of modern physics, despite having been developed merely a century ago. Known for its remarkable precision, quantum theory explains nearly every observed physical phenomenon while challenging our understanding of reality, locality, and the nature of the universe. Over the past fifty years, the unique properties of quantum systems—such as superposition,... Read more »
A two-week in-person program on the theoretical and experimental study of quantum information
